Travel Insurance Information:
Travel insurance is a compulsory requirement for every foreign visitor in Saudi Arabia, helping the visitor address any emergency conveniently. However, before you buy travel insurance, do consider the following factors:

Total Cost of the Holiday or Visit:
Do consult the travel agent regarding their refund policy. An unforeseen event may lead to cancellation of your trip or holiday. If this happens, it always helps if you can get the money back.

Travel Itinerary:
You may need additional coverage if you intend to get involved in something extreme. It is a good idea to consider all the activities you will do once you are in Saudi Arabia and then apply for travel insurance.

Traveling with Family: If you are traveling to Saudi Arabia with spouse and children, the travel insurance must cover them. Therefore, it always helps to be informed before starting your journey and buy the right travel insurance package.

Salam, I would like to check how to legalise a Power of attorney in the Saudi consulate?

Suziana Abd Samat

I am currently in Makkah, just done my umrah and awaiting to Wukuf in Arafah. Just to inform that I am sad today, before maghrib azdan, being treated not as a guest of Allah SWT in front of HAJAR Aswad with two other middle eastern ladies, we were holding each others hand to touch the HAJAR aswad when one of the saudi guards/armies pulled my sling bag harshly around my neck that caused me to fell on the ground, my back hit the Sharzaswan and my right knee was in so much pain that I had to seek doctor's prescription at the nearest medical centre at the Clock Tower. Luckily I had taken haj insurance prior to arrival here. Just my sincere opinion, do scream or shout at us trying to touch the HAJAR aswad as much as these guards want too but physically hurt us that may result to severe body injuries as I am having now due to this brutality is unnecessary. We are just humans who come to perform ibadah, not as enemy to a well trained army personnel. Just treat us as who we are, a duyufurrahman. Sincerely, Suziana Abd Samat
